Pindrop, an Atlanta-based voice security and authentication firm, announced it has closed a $90 million funding round. Pindrop will tap the Series D investment, led by Vitruvian Partners, to expand its presence in the U.K. and other European markets. The company provides antifraud and authentication solutions for call centers and biometric authentication technology for smartphones and voice-enabled IoT devices like Google Home, smart locks and connected cars.
