CNP/NRF Keynote Stresses Importance of Broadening Focus for Investigators

June 30, 2021

CNP played a major role in last week’s NRF Retail Converge—the largest retailer event in the U.S. We programmed a track of sessions that included discussions on chargebacks, evaluating antifraud technology and measuring fraud team effectiveness, dealing with false positives, and the growing problem of refund fraud. In addition, CNP sponsored a keynote address featuring bestselling author and former investigative reporter David Epstein.

Epstein drew many comparisons between his days as an investigative reporter and the “cat-and-mouse” game that fraud professionals play daily. His address also delved deeply into being a generalist vs. a specialist and how having a broad set of experiences and personal networks is beneficial in business.

This session will be available on-demand for all registrants until July 25, 2021. along with more than 160 others, on-demand for the next 30 days if you register for the event. Live sessions are continuing this week through 3:15 p.m. ET on Friday, June 25. Check out registration options for NRF Retail Converge here.
