CNP Partners with NRF for In-Person Education

CNP Partners with NRF for In-Person Education

December 9, 2021

The National Retail Federation (NRF) and Card Not Present (CNP) have joined forces to educate merchants on issues pertaining to e-commerce fraud and payments. The organizations will collaborate on several initiatives including the 2022 edition of NRF PROTECT, which will take place June 21-23 at the Huntington Convention Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

The past two years have reshaped the retail world and consumer buying patterns. Covid restrictions resulted in explosive growth for retail e-commerce and other online merchants and fraudsters took the opportunity—as they always have—to hide among a larger number of legitimate users. Fraud of all kinds targeting online sellers is rising and new fraud types have emerged alongside evolving payment methods.

CNP will contribute content for several sessions on the future of risk, emerging fraud types and best practices for identifying and preventing them, changes to the chargeback process, career development for fraud professionals, and more.
