The National Retail Federation (NRF) and Card Not Present (CNP) today announced a partnership under which they will join forces to educate merchants on issues pertaining to e-commerce fraud and payments. The organizations will collaborate on several initiatives including this summer’s virtual NRF Retail Converge event (June 21-25), at which CNP will contribute content for several sessions on fraud, chargebacks, false positives and refund fraud.
“NRF is the world’s largest retail trade association, and has a major commitment to all aspects of security for the retail sector—from loss prevention and cyber risk, to digital fraud prevention,” said Reed Exhibitions Group Vice President, Will Wise. “More than ever, with the rapid growth in e-commerce that the market is experiencing, fighting fraud and enabling secure card-not-present payments is essential to protect revenues and customer data. CNP is enthusiastic about collaborating with the NRF to serve our CNP community, across both online content and in-person event engagements.”
Looking ahead, CNP will assist NRF with planning educational content for NRF PROTECT 2022, taking place June 20-22, 2022 in Cleveland, Ohio.
